MUSHROOM, RECIPE FOR WARMING WINE

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PORTIONS
a bottle of dry red wine
6 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of honey
1 cup of cranberry juice (can be replaced with water or cider)
1 orange, including the peel
1 stick of cinnamon
1 star anise
4 whole cloves
a piece of fresh ginger, peeled from the skin
1 orange to serve
A method of preparing
Put sugar and cranberry juice in a large saucepan, put on the fire and bring to the boil. Add honey, peeled zest and orange juice, cinnamon, star anise, ginger, and cloves. Boil it all over low heat for 5-7 minutes, until an aromatic syrup is obtained. Reduce the heat and add the wine without bringing it to a boil. Heat it over low heat for about 5 minutes. Slice the orange and put it into the prepared glasses. Pour the hot wine over it, trying to leave the spices in the pot. Serve it right away. Enjoy your meal!
